The worst day for America in twenty years.
The Trump verdict overseen by a Biden donor judge and partisan jury pool is not just a travesty of justice but a wake-up call to America that you are not safe from lawfare in Joe Biden's America.
Mark it: May 30, 2024, the worst day for America since the deceitfully sold Iraq War. That fellow Americans––including friends, in-laws, and former colleagues––are gleefully cheering this grotesquely biased, baseless, politically motivated, unnecessarily salacious, and hypocritical New York City kangaroo court trial and verdict against Donald J. Trump shakes this registered independent to the core. It’s so disheartening and deflating, especially in light of one-sided jury instructions by a heavily conflicted judge—who should have recused himself—that ensured a guilty verdict. Most of those blindly cheering this pre-baked decision do not grasp even one legitimate aspect of the case. They are mindlessly shouting, “Hurray for our side!” now that the crown jewel of this republic, our legal system, has been deployed as a blunt force instrument to take out their Orange bogeyman, whatever the cost to justice and the rule of law.
What are the unseemly partisan prosecutors and Trump-deranged media uncouthly celebrating? What dastardly crime did Trump commit? Did he loot, burn, and riot for days in Alvin Bragg’s New York City? Did he summarily execute police officers like the BLM faithful in Letitia James’ New York City? Did he give aid and comfort to publicly defecating homeless and felonious illegal immigrants in Eric Adams’ New York City?
Nope. We are talking about an internal bookkeeping irregularity years past the statute of limitations––that the Federal Elections Commission and a former New York Attorney General declined to prosecute––in alleged furtherance of a phantom crime that was never identified nor shown to be known by the defendant! You’ve got to be joking. I guess that means Hillary Clinton will be charged with a felony for hiding her funding of Christopher Steele’s false, salacious, Russian-sourced, election-interfering dossier, right? Wrong.
I wish there were someone to call, but it's like Invasion of the Body Snatchers: everyone I know either has Trump Derangement Syndrome or lives in fear––Hollywood actors, college students, successful businesspersons––of the censorious, vengeful, MSDNC-mainlining Trump-Deranged zombies. That the self-titled Resistance can pull off such a lawfare coup against their top political opponent––who is beating their enfeebled, incompetent, and corrupt standard-bearer, Joe Biden, in polls––suggests that, like Chinatown’s Noah Cross, they are capable of ANYTHING.
Though he was right to be suspicious given the Democrats’ Trump/Russia collusion hoax, FISA court abuse, Steele Dossier disinformation gambit, and other election interference schemes against him and his associates, Trump was technically mistaken about ballot fraud in the 2020 election (which makes it hard for me to talk to diehard MAGA people, either). There were sketchy Democratic shenanigans, as Democrats themselves admitted, but not the stuff of J6 hysteria.
Still, there was a crime. Mist relevant to the current verdict against Trump, Joe Biden had 50 former intel chiefs falsely claim in 2020 that the mere existence of Hunter's damaging laptop was "Russian disinformation." There was no prosecution for that transparent act of election interference, a lie Biden REPEATED in the first presidential debate. 20% of Biden voters polled after the 2020 election said that had they known that Hunter's laptop was real, they would not have voted for Joe Biden. Biden won that closely contested race on that brazen election interference alone.
What Trump did in the current case was de minimus and multi-causal by comparison. He was worried about how the 2006 Stormy Daniels affair would affect his year-old marriage to Melania, his family, his business, and his brand. He worried he’d violate the scandal clause in his The Apprentice contract with NBC. Nothing that Trump did or was alleged to have done amounted to direct election interference. In the main, it was about misdemeanor record-keeping (his accountant clicking on the wrong field in a drop-drop menu!). And the money request could easily be read as extortion by Ms. Daniels!
Candidates do many things to improve their standing with voters: pay off debts, whiten teeth, sell assets, settle cases, and tell a mistress to remain silent. How many affairs did Bill Clinton have? You don’t know. He had an entire “War Room” dedicated to keeping his affairs and other corruption from you. Who knows how many were paid off?
Like the Clinton effort to control and deny “Bimbo eruptuons,” the Biden-orchestrated former intel chief letter was game-changing election interference. But nothing was done and is being done about it. Ditto for Joe’s pay-for-play schemes while Vice President. That’s because Democrat-leaning Never Trumpers staff the Department of Justice.
Trump’s crime? He naively believed that justice was blind and, thus, failed to staff the Department of Justice with constitution-respecting conservatives. That failure to clean house and engage in high-level partisan prosecution of his opponents has come back to haunt him.
Unlike, say, under Democrat Attorney General Bobby Kennedy––who, according to his son Robert Kennedy, Jr., ruthlessly expunged political bias from DOJ prosecutions––today’s Woke partisan Democrats don’t care about bias or the rule of law. They care about winning. Alvin Bragg and Letitia James campaigned on convicting a presumed innocent citizen, Donald Trump, before they’d alleged any crime, let alone indicted him for anything. For any Republican, let alone any successful New York business person of any stripe, witnessing this Third World political prosecution today: watch out. You could be next.
Democrats tonight are disingenuously singing, “No one is above the law,” as if Alvin Bragg strings together a novel legal theory daily to convict a former President. This was selective. This was targeted. You can’t say, “No one is above the law” when the New York Justice Department is clearly biased against Trump. This political show trial did not happen in a vacuum.
If you believe your standard of “No one is above the law,” then encourage your supposedly objective and fair federal prosecutors to bring charges against Joe Biden for clearly engaging in election interference to win the 2020 election. But you won’t. Because you know this is about using your Dem-dominated justice system—lawyers, like reporters, tend to lean Democrat––to win an election outside the ballot box.
You anti-Trumpers are frauds. You didn’t care about the rule of law when you let BLM rioters burn down police precincts, stores, amd federal buildings during the 2020 Summer of Insurrection. You said, “Move On” when it came to Bill Clinton’s affairs and the sundry malfeases of Joe Biden. So, please, cut the hypocritical crap.
The vast power of the deep state, administrative state, media, social media, search, entertainment, and legal profession has been marshaled to go after one man: Donald Trump. This is sick. This is wrong. This is un-American. It’s okay not to like Trump or his politics and policy, but––in a nod to Chuck Schumer––by applauding today’s partisan verdict overseen by a Trump-hating Biden donor in the heavily Democratic city of New York, you have “unleashed the whirlwind.” If there is any cosmic justice, you will see the same Stalinist tactics used on your candidates, your friends, and all those who represent––in whole or in part––your point of view. And you will finally realize that the very thing you most desired has come back to destroy you. What a deeply sad day for America.
The saddest day in America in a very, very long time. Probably since RFK assassination. Sick.
