The Biden Administration is in free-fall. Will Republicans pounce? Can they?
Over the past two weeks we saw the truth––time to have that talk with Gramps. Biden was a useful tool against Trump. Now he could cost Dems everything. Does the GOP have the stones to take the keys?
The Biden clown car is gaining warp speed towards full implosion. The rapid downward slide began with Joe's frighteningly untethered press conference after being let off the hook by Special Counsel Robert Hur, who claimed the President was too senile to stand trial for knowingly mishandling classified documents. Joe should have accepted that generous lagniappe, but he couldn't help himself, confirming in his impromptu, dysregulated, gaffe-littered Diplomatic Room rant that his mental and emotional capacities are far more diminished than even his Big Media/Big Tech Praetorian Guard realized. Rather than assuaging fears that the public had about his age and acuity––as he confused the President of Egypt with the President of Mexico––Biden confirmed them. “Calling Ron Klain. It’s the DNC. We’re screwed!”
What made Biden’s presser so damaging was that it came on the heels of a blunder bonanza by the 81-year-old President earlier in the week. Biden was unable to name the messianic terrorist group Hamas. He referenced a recent conversation he had with French President François Mitterand, who died nearly thirty years ago. He talked about January 6 with German Chancellor Helmut Kohl, who died years before January 6.
Joe Biden's prime-time collapse was compounded by the tacit White House admission that overt DEI hire, White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre (KJP), is too unqualified to be trusted with sensitive national security communications. That all-of-government job will now be handled by the lone competent face in the Biden comédie de l'absurde: John Kirby.
Sensing that shuffling the deck chairs was insufficient to pacify the expanding chorus of Democrat mutineers, right on cue Biden went full Wag the Dog: trotting out deep state coup agent Jake “The Snake” Sullivan to proclaim that there was a new and terrifying national security threat emanating out of that old dependable bogeyman, “Russia, Russia, Russia.” Truth is we’ve known about the Russian anti-satellite threat for a while now. It should have been kept under wraps. Instead, Republican House Intelligence Committee Chair Mike Turner went weirdly rogue in publicly announcing it on X of all places, not only throwing the flailing commander-in-chief a needed bone during the worst two weeks of his presidency but raising suspicion that Turner did so to win increased Ukraine funding and watered-down FISA court reform to enable increased spying on Americans. Ask Carter Page and other innocent Trump associates how that worked out.
One of the key gambits in the demagogue Socialist and NeoCon toolbox is to randomly announce some imminent security threat to justify the suspension of democratic norms. We saw this during COVID-19 with unilateral changes to state election law without state legislative approval, ballot harvesting, mask mandates, grade school shutdowns, and state-sponsored social media censorship of “wrong speech.” If the President’s comportment and poll numbers continue to decline, don’t act surprised when the Taibbi-exposed Transition Integrity Project helps Biden institute similar maneuvers come summer. After all, a Trump election would be lethal to Biden’s deep state and NeoCon backers, who are all too happy to destroy the republic to “save” it.
Team Biden’s catastrophic two weeks were capped by yesterday’s unhinged Georgia courtroom performance by aggressive prosecutor-turned-hostile-defendant Fani Willis. Flannery O'Connor could not have penned a character so richly preposterous as this benighted grifter, who acted indignant when she could not answer on which continents were the three places she’d vacationed with her prosecution team paramour, Nathan Wade. Those vacation hot spots were Aruba (South America), The Bahamas (North America), and Belize (North America). Ms. Willis supposedly passed the Georgia Bar Exam.
Since there is strong evidence that Willis collaborated with the Biden White House in her prosecution of Trump, I'd group her with other transparently incompetent scoundrels that populate this surreal Administration: "Doctor" Jill, Cacklin' Kamala, Feckless Tony, Treasonous Alejandro, and East Palestine Pete.
The Republican Party has never had an easier set-up, gifted to them by a confederacy of ponces, a ship of tools. There’s the deliberately open border, the preventable fentanyl crisis, the Dem-enabled smash-and-grab epidemic, a world at war, persistent inflation, with Clueless Joe seeking to spend another $110 billion to protect other countries’ borders but only paltry sums to protect our own. With one deft tap, and some GOP message discipline, the Biden straw man would collapse. It comes down to this: if Joe is too enfeebled to stand trial for his crimes, then he's too enfeebled to continue serving as President.
Will Republicans seize upon this contradiction to end this clown car presidency or will they again snare defeat from the jaws of victory? Sadly, you already know the answer.
Well said! The White House moves by inches & seconds, unbelievable & for real. So fast, I believe less than .1% (White House) actually know what is happening in any given second!! The POTUS and vice are there to bolster the moral of the Public. GREAT journalism! Love reading your articles. Thank you!
